FAQs

Can anyone Facilitate the Create2grow program?

Create2Grow was designed to be facilitated by health professionals or community members as a therapeutic or supportive intervention, thereby increasing access to developmental support services for marginalised children. However, facilitators should have experience working with children and be able and willing to nurture and accept those with learning differences.

Are in-Person Trainings available?

Create2Grow offers an online, self-paced training workshop that is readily available to interested facilitators. In-person training can be requested via the contact tab, yet it is subject to the requestor’s location and the trainer’s availability. In-person trainings require four or more personnel and training within the Cape Winelands/ Cape Town Metro districts will be prioritised.

Where can Create2Grow be facilitated?

In the heart of creating equal access to developmental services, it is strongly recommended that Create2Grow take place in a safe, community-based facility such as a school or community centre. However, the program is adaptable and can be utilised in private practice or hospital contexts for group therapy.
